Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine delivered a delightful experience with their Seabass Moquecas, Cape Santa appetizer, Quibes, and Camarao ao Alho. The seabass moquecas were rich and flavorful, showcasing Brazilian cuisine at its best. The Cape Santa and Quibes made for great starters with their tasty fillings and textures. Camarao ao Alho, or garlic shrimp had bold flavors of garlic and perfectly cooked shrimp. Overall, a satisfying taste of Brazil.

During a recent family road trip, we made a highly anticipated stop at Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine – a place I used to frequent when I was in Ventura for work. I'm thrilled to report that it remains, without a doubt, one of the best Brazilian restaurants I have ever been to! My personal favorites, the Caipirinha drinks and the exquisite Seabass Moqueca, were as delightful as ever with every bite. For the kids, we ordered the Brazilian Strogonoff, which was absolutely perfect for sharing among all of us, pleasing both the adults and the little ones. My parents, who are always picky eaters, actually said they really enjoyed the Macarrao com Mariscos, finding it simply delicious. Our experience was made even more special by our server, Roberta. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely exuded the heart of the restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere. Her attentive service truly enhanced our meal. My 1 year old was kind of fussy that evening, and Roberta had the most patience in the world. Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine consistently delivers an authentic and exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, I highly recommend making a stop here. You won't be disappointed!

Moqueca was amazing. The food was on point and service was great. Would highly recommend the Brazilian beef stroganoff. We also got the fish moqueca and that was delicious. As someone with shellfish allergies, I was able to find delicious food and I believe there was no cross contamination since each dish is made individually.

Located on the 2nd floor, we had to ask the restaurant below how to find it. Take the staircase up and it’s amazing. Food was fabulous! If I’m in that area again, I will go back! I forget what we ordered, but they were both amazing. These are the regular sized dishes.

We had a nice dinner here during our stay in 0xnard. The food was flavorful & our server was very nice! For appetizers, the beef empanadas were really great! We also got the Coxinhas which are a potato puff stuffed with a chicken mixture. I thought they were just ok, not as flavorful as the empanadas. For dinner, we got the Bolagnase which was pretty good and the large shrimp Moquacas. The Moquacas were delicious, hot and a bit spicy and very flavorful. My only complaint is not enough rice was served with it. Rice is super cheap, give more as there is so much sauce, it needs more rice please! We got the flan as desert. It was perfectly caramelized and great flavor. For 14 though it was too small. Definitely check this place out if you're visiting Oxnard.

I LOVE this restaurant. I try to make it on the weekends because I order the Feijoada. All the appetizers are amazing but I love the garlic shrimp and steak skewers. No photos to post but I highly recommend. The owners come say hello and the service is amazing. Highly recommend.

Food is always good and the drinks are potent. The seabass com mariscos moqueca wasn't my favorite but it was very good. The mariscos moqueca is probably my favorite. The feijoada was also very good. Beautiful views of the harbor and great caipirinhas rounded out a very enjoyable lunch (Saturday and Sunday only for lunch). We'll be back.
